Building the Team
The ever-accelerating pace of change requires constant adjustment and learning for organisations and individuals to remain relevant and succeed. This requires a continuous learning approach to ensure the challenges of change are overcome and the opportunities are capitalised. In this course, participants will learn the importance of workplace learning, gain a continuous learning mindset and develop the ability to design and implement a range of development strategies for their team.
At the completion of the workshop, you will be able to:
- identify and use techniques to identify the development needs of your team
- begin to develop effective learning and development plans for your team members
- understand more clearly how to effectively coach and/or mentor members of your team
- begin to develop strategies to monitor and record the development progress of your team members and adjust strategies if necessary.
Leading a Team
Teams consist of a number of diverse individuals with different perceptions, assumptions, attitudes and values. Therefore, leading a team is often a very challenging task that requires a number of specific leadership skills in order to ensure success for both the organisation and the individuals. This workshop will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to effectively lead teams to ensure cohesiveness, cooperation, higher productivity and greater levels job satisfaction.
Outcomes for this course will help individuals to tailor their leadership style and communication methods to influence and motivate others to work together towards common goals.

Introduction to Emotional Intelligence
People are emotional beings, and our decisions and actions are often based on emotion. This workshop will assist participants in gaining a greater awareness of their emotions and those of others and provide them with strategies to effectively manage these emotions. This will result in a greater understanding of self and others, more effective relationships, better decision making and greater levels of resilience.
Participation in this workshop will assist employees understand the concept of emotional intelligence and identify their own emotional intelligence level and those of others.
